Configuring the BlueCielo Download Manager

The BlueCielo Download Manager controls the download of documents from a SharePoint library to your computer that occurs when you view or check out documents. The BlueCielo Download Manager has options that you can configure to suit your preferences.

Note The BlueCielo Download Manager and its options are only available if the SharePoint library is configured to not use your Meridian Enterprise Local Workspace, if you already have one.

To configure the BlueCielo Download Manager:

Open a SharePoint library that uses the BlueCielo Web Parts.
On the Settings menu, select Download Manager Settings. TheBlueCielo Download Settings dialog box appears.
Click options or type values using the descriptions in the following table.

BlueCielo Download Settings options
Option	Description
Location	Type the path to the folder where you want downloaded files to be saved or click the Browse For Folder button and select a folder.
Close dialog when download completes	Closes theBlueCielo Download Manager dialog when downloads complete. If cleared, the dialog remains open until you close it.
Open folder when download completes	Opens the folder specified for Location when downloads complete.
Open document when download completes	When downloading completes, opens the file in the application registered in Windows for the file type.
Start download immediately	Starts downloads immediately instead of waiting for you to click Start.

Click OK to save the settings.
